You're starting out and want to do it right. You'll work alongside journeymen and foremen invested in your progress. Get hands-on field experience and enter a formal apprenticeship through MCC or IEC with a clear path toward journeyman status. Journeyman license comes with a pay increase — pass the test, get the raise.
You've earned your license, and you're good at what you do. At Strategic Electric, journeymen take real ownership of their work — commercial installations, code-compliant execution, quality that holds up to inspection. All electricians hold current city and state licensing for Nebraska.
If you're a journeyman ready to run a crew — plan the work, manage the day, hold the standard — this is the next step. You'll coordinate with project management and make sure everything gets done right the first time.

Strategic Electric is actively involved in two electrician apprenticeship programs in Omaha: Metro Community College (MCC) and the Independent Electrical Contractors (IEC) national apprenticeship. Complete your first semester, maintain a C average or better, and we cover your tuition.
